Our TV light strips undergo strict testing before shipment, so most TV light strips have no problems. If you receive a TV light strip with some beads not lit, you can follow the following three steps:

Firstly, confirm whether the TV light strip has been plugged into the 4 wires, and the most important one is not to miss the HDMI input source (i.e. the wiring of the TV box or PS4/PS5 game console: As shown in Figure 1, the wiring for the TV box or PS4/PS5 game console is missing. The correct wiring is shown in Figure 2.
)—After confirming this step, proceed to the second and third steps.
Second, press the reset button for 5 seconds to automatically restart the LED strip
thirdly, unplug the power supply of the light strip and then plug it back in

You first perform the second step to see if the light strip can work properly. If it cannot work properly, you can perform the third step after 10 minutes.

Proper wiring: The control box of the TV strip must have 4 connecting wires (most importantly, do not miss the wiring of the TV box or game console, as shown in the following picture2 and video)

⚠️ Please note that this TV strip does not require downloading any applications. It belongs to the plug and play style. Please confirm that your TV must be equipped with a TV box to use this TV strip (as shown in Figure 2 above), and that your TV and TV box must be HDMI 2.0 version to use. Our TV light strip is not compatible with any HDMI 2.1 devices

This TV backlight cannot be used alone with a smart TV and must be connected to the TV box

Unable to work with the built-in smart TV app, requires HDMI input.
